To stay in a Youth Hostel in France, you must be a member of your national association. If you have not while arriving in France you will have to purchase the HI Welcome card at €15. The HI Welcome card will give you access to all the Youth Hostels of the HI network - 4200 in the world. Moreover, on your return in your country and on your request, it will be exchanged against the national card of your country of origin. This card will give you access to all the Youth Hostels of the HI network.
