SAND DUNE OF PYLA

Close to Arcachon Pyla’s Dune is one of the best national sites of France. Extending on 2, 7 kilometres it’s the highest sand hill of Europe (117 meters).
Alive the Dune can move back around 3 or 10 meters in winter depending of the wind.
So you could easy go and admire its panorama from the top of the hill, where the sandy yellow contrast strongly with the blue of the ocean and with the green of the pine wood.
We see the Cap Ferret, the bassin of Arcachon, or the ornithology reserve of Arguin...
