St Emilion is steadily at the north hillside of the Dordogne’s valley.
Built as an amphitheatre the city charm you as you start to see the church tower.
Its land expends to 27 km². Real in the open’s museum St Emilion’s borough astonishes.
And particularly its troglodyte’s (house under the earth) tradition: a monolith (built with one unique stone) church unique in the world.
It’s got a huge gallery of 70 hectares dug on the chalky rock.
